Thompson Contender Parts

Postby rkittine » Fri Jan 04, 2019 9:56 am

I have a 14" 45 Win Mag Barrel with Muzzle break, a 16" .45-70 Barrel and a Thumbhole Rifle Stock and forend set for sale or trade. I am interested in a .45LLC / .410 14" VR Barrel with the Stripper Choke.

Not sure what to even ask for these items.

I do not know who made the stock. Not in perfect condition, but serviceable. I traded the 45 Win Mag and the .45-70 used barrels to Ed at Ed's Contenders for a brand new 14" .45LC / .410 Vent Rib barrel with choke.

I will post pictures of the butt stock shortly.

Is that wood or some kind of composite?

Looks like fiberglass. You can see some of the matting where there is wear. Sold, but I think it needs a sanding and coat of something to be nice looking.
