Little thumper

Postby deadeer » Tue Nov 06, 2018 2:47 am

I will be hunting the nature preserve hunt soon. I will be in a bottom between 2 thickets, thick, close range action. Shots could be under the tree out to about 75yds. So, I put together this little thumper for ease of maneuverability. Its a 308 rifle barrel that was shortened to 17", and a brake installed by bullseye69. Handy as can be! I love it...

It is a real shooter too. Cant beat 3 shots in one hole!

Good shooting! There's a lot to be said for short, stiff rifle barrels.

Finding that to be very true. We have come to realize that all of our Encore pistols have shot outstanding with little effort. Rifle length can be a lot more picky, but workable.
